Artist bio
Jos Coufreur is an award-winning artist and his artworks are full of spontaneous vibrant colour. Since leaving art school in the Netherlands he has been on a long journey of discovery as an artist. With several years of employment in between he has been a fulltime artist for over 30 years. His artworks are in large format to allow him free movement and expression, and his love for colour is evident in each piece. Jos loves painting people, animals and city and landscapes and he also accepts commissions.
Jos grew up in the Wollongong area but his parents moved the family back to the Netherlands when he was 1y.
