Title:  ‘ Trevor the Koala ‘ 

Size:  76 cm x 51 cm (30” x 23”)  | Medium: mixed media – charcoal, pastel, graphite & watercolour on watercolour paper.

‘ I wanted to be part of this project as I recognised it as a unique opportunity to bring greater exposure to the plight of native animals in Australia. In particular the iconic yet vulnerable Koalas, who suffered dreadfully from the devastating bushfires during the last Australian summer. The bushfires brought Australians together and everyone did what they could to help those in need. This drawing is my way of contributing to ensure that we do not forget what is at stake if we do not act quickly on climate change and land clearing. ’  Finnian DUNCAN (aged 14)
